Terms & conditions
Last updated: 25 September 2026. These terms apply to every booking made with GHORA GHURI Travel & Tour, Daulatpur, Khulna, Bangladesh. A written quote issued by us forms part of the contract; where it conflicts with a clause below, the quote wins.
1. What we supply
We act as tour operator: we design itineraries and contract transport, accommodation, guides, vessels and permits on your behalf. Where we act as an agent for a third party (internal flight, launch berth, ferry crossing), that supplier's own terms apply to that element and are disclosed in the quote.
2. Enquiries, quotes and confirmation
- A booking submitted through this website is an enquiry, not a confirmed reservation.
- A booking becomes confirmed when we issue a proforma invoice and the deposit clears into our account.
- Quotes are valid 14 days, or until the published departure closes, whichever comes first.
- Prices are in Bangladeshi taka and include VAT and service charges unless stated. Supplier taxes levied at the property (e.g. city tourism tax) are shown separately where they are charged on the spot.
3. Payment
30% deposit on confirmation; balance in cash or by mobile banking on day one of the tour. Full payment is required in advance for New Year and Eid departures, Sundarban vessel charters, and any element a supplier bills us for up front (marked in the quote). Accepted methods: bank transfer, bKash, Nagad, Rocket, cash at our office. Card payment through a licensed gateway is available on request in production; this preview build has no gateway enabled and takes no payment.
4. Changes by you
Date and name changes are free up to 7 days before departure. Inside 7 days the deposit is credited to a future trip within 12 months, less penalties already incurred by suppliers, itemised on request. Changes to group size after confirmation may change per-person pricing because vehicle, boat and guide costs are fixed per unit, not per head.

Documented medical emergencies (hospital report) are treated case by case; we will pursue refunds from suppliers for you and pass on anything recovered.
6. Cancellation or change by us
If we cannot run a confirmed departure, you choose: an equivalent alternative itinerary, a date change, or a full refund of everything paid to us. We do not add a cancellation fee in that case. Compensation beyond the refund (missed flights, other trips) is not payable unless caused by our proven negligence.
7. Force majeure and safety
Cyclone warnings, river level closures, forest-office suspensions, strikes, civil disturbance, epidemic controls, or road washouts allow us to reroute, postpone or cancel for safety. Decisions of this kind are made by the relevant authority or, where they are silent, by our operations lead, and are communicated in writing as early as possible. Our guides may refuse an activity (swimming at an unguarded beach, night driving in low visibility, drone flights over the reserve) and that refusal is not a breach of contract.
8. Traveller obligations
- Carry the ID or passport named in the booking; permit filings are invalid without it.
- Disclose medical conditions, dietary needs and mobility requirements at booking.
- Follow guide instructions at wildlife sites, on boats (life jackets worn when instructed) and in Hill Tracts communities; respect photography and dress rules at religious sites.
- You are liable for damage you cause to property, vessels or wildlife habitat, and for penalties imposed on us by authorities because of your conduct.
- Arrive at the published pick-up time. A vehicle waits 30 minutes in a city, 10 minutes at a forest ghat.
9. Insurance
We hold public liability insurance for our operations and require every guest to carry personal travel and medical insurance covering evacuation. Our fee does not include your insurance; a Tk 350 per-person rider can be added at booking.
10. Liability
To the extent Bangladeshi law allows, our aggregate liability for a booking is limited to the trip value paid to us. We are not liable for loss caused by circumstances outside our control, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11. Intellectual property and the destination database
Itinerary texts, photographs and the destination dataset on this site are provided for trip planning. Editorial reuse
with credit is welcome and needs only an email; scraping the dataset for commercial resale is not permitted. Third-party
photographs carry the licences listed in ATTRIBUTION.md, which travel with the content.
12. Reviews and conduct on social media
We publish genuine guest reviews unedited except for privacy. We may remove submissions that are defamatory, contain personal data of staff, or are commercial solicitation.

14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes go first to good-faith negotiation with our director, then to the competent courts of Khulna. Complaints received in writing are answered within 7 working days.
15. Preview-build notice
This deployment is a build preview: submissions are stored locally in your browser, the admin panel uses a demo
passcode, and no payment gateway or live email transport is connected. Do not submit real personal data into it.
